Dont Wait For Gas Prices To Rise, Build Your Own Homemade Electric Car Now!

Right now gas prices have been relatively stable. It seems we have accepted these prices even though it wasn’t that long ago that we were screaming bloody murder over them. History always repeats itself. Why not start building a homemade electric car before it does?

Unless you have been living under a rock, I’m sure you have seen what’s going on in the Gulf. Right now BP is spending billions to deal with this situation. If you think they are going to pay for this out of their own pocket, think again. Do you think the other big oil companies are just watching with casual interest, thinking it cant happen to them? These costs will invariably be paid by us, the consumer.

We need to break the grip Big Oil has on us and reduce our dependency on it. Indirectly you and me are responsible for the ecological damage in the Gulf. We created a demand for this product. If the market wasn’t there risky drilling like this would not occur.

If you have been thinking about an electric car conversion maybe it’s time to start taking some action, before gas prices go through the roof. We all know gas prices will rise again at some point. But right now you can start saving money today on your gas bills TODAY and even more in the future as gas prices climb. Get your hands on our complete electric car plans today.

Reconditioned batteries are a viable option for building homemade electric cars, that many may not be aware of. Electric car batteries are a major expense in doing EV conversions because you need quite a few if you want to get a good mileage range

When people look at the price of new deep cycle batteries many get discouraged. But there is an option available that can pretty much eliminate the expense  of electric car batteries entirely.

The battery manufactures wont tell you this, but it's possible to recondition batteries that are dead or dying and restore these batteries to near new condition. Most batteries fail because of a process called sulfation. But this process is reversible.

To desulfate a battery you need a special kind of battery charger called a battery desufator. This can easily be built at home and this process works for any lead acid battery, but for building homemade electric cars you will need deep cycle batteries.

Dead batteries just seem to have a way of accumulating. You may even have a few in your shop or garage. Golf courses, marinas, or outboard shops are all good places to look for potential electric car batteries. Chances are they will be happy just to get  them out of the way.

You might even consider selling reconditioned batteries as a home business idea, either for extra cash or to fund your homemade electric car project. Car batteries are easy to come by and since you get them free you cant help but make money selling them. At the very least once you build your battery desulfator you wont have to buy car batteries ever again.

Homemade electric cars have some very distinct advantages over hybrid electric cars. One is simplicity of design. They are lower maintenance and break down less. The more complicated things are the more likely things will go wrong. Last week Toyota announced the recall of over 300,000 Prius Hybrids. I think this pretty much drives the point home. Instead of buying  expensive hybrid electric  cars  that will break it seems homemade electric cars are a much better choice. homemade electric cars - plug in hybridsA politically polarized America is coming together over a new kind of car-the plug-in hybrid that will save drivers money, reduce pollution, and increase US security by reducing dependence on imported oil. Plug-in Hybrids points out that, where hydrogen fuel-cell cars won’t be ready for decades, the technology for plug-in hybrids exists today. Unlike conventional hybrid cars that can’t run without gasoline, plug-in hybrids use gasoline or cheaper, cleaner, domestic electricity-o (more…)
